Changi T3 Haul

Hi everyone! I'm blogging this from New Delhi (visiting the boyfriend) :-)

The Becca counter in Changi Airport T3 is on clearance with everything at 70% off. It's quite sad that they didn't even manage to survive one year there. Most of the lipglosses are sold out and they only have the testers out for the Luminous Skin Foundation, concealer, Stick Foundation and some face powders. I'm not sure which are actually in stock.

The airport is also giving away $50 voucher if you spend $350 on perfumes and cosmetics. I got these:
Ralph Lauren Romance Always Yours 75ml $121
J. Lo Sunkissed Glow 50ml $66
Kenzo 5.40pm in Madagascar 50ml $97.50
Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick Eye Palette $81

and got the DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom for $13+ with the voucher :-) Female magazine lists the retail price of Fresh Blossom as ranging from $88-$118.

Hi Iris,

*a big wave from Sg* ^_^

Love your shopping! Is 4 items enough? ;)

I miss duty free shops... =(

Hey AhCapp,

It was hard stopping at 4 items but the $50 voucher offer was too good to pass up! Also, these were perfumes that mostly haven't launched in town yet, plus they were cheaper compared to town prices.

Hey Jamilla,
Yes, I always end up spending a bomb in the duty free of Changi Airport as they have an excellent selection of cosmetics and fragrances, plus they often launch new perfumes ahead of the shops in the city so it's a great place to find all the latest launches.

Hey Connie,
Becca is still available at the Sephora store in Singapore but it looks like they are pulling out of the airport. This is actually Becca's 2nd attempt to enter the Singapore market. They were in a department store in Singapore a few years ago but pulled out after a year or two.

Hey Jac,
Thanks, am enjoying it very much :-)

Hi Haru, Becca was at the airport for more than a year, cuz T3 opened in January... but anyway, let's see how long it will survive in Sephora in Taka... I find its prices too steep, to be honest.

If Becca things were cheaper, they would be able to survive. Let's see how long is the counter at Sephora is going to last.

Hi,

I think Becca's main problem is distribution. Even in the US, they seemed to have many problems when they were stocked at Sephora in terms of keeping stuff in stock. But it is true that their stuff is probably priced too high for the Singapore market and faces very tough competition.
